Three Essentials Of Good Blogging For Money

In Uncategorized on December 4, 2009 by Guest Author Tagged: ,

There are many things you can do to your blog make money online but there can only be a few essential elements that will make it more read and more profitable. Of course, your writing skills are given. You can’t possibly go and explore the other ways to make profit out of a blog if you’re not skilled in its technical aspect which includes writing.

What you’d like to begin with when going over the basic ingredients of a good blog is a blog post’s title. Definitely, this has to be something that grabs readers’ attention. It should be direct and concise and, for the sake of search engine marketing, it must include a keyword. You know how powerful keywords are for search engines.

A poor title means you just may have to stay in the shadows of the web until you come up with something better. Of course, a title with no keyword will probably end up low in the search engine rankings, if the post ever gets there.

And then, you’ll also want to include a few keywords into your first or introductory paragraph. There’s a bit of sensitivity around this part, though. You have to make your keywords sound very natural or else everyone’s going to know it’s not a real paragraph that’s meant to information but rather one of mere strategy. Definitely, you want to tell your readers that you are serious about imparting your knowledge to them as your priority and not just to make money out of the interest that search engines take on your posts.

Of course, for a blog post to be popular, it has to be informative. People should always be able to click away from your post and know that they learned something from you after reading it. The advertisements should be there because they’re the ones that actually bring in the money. But to make your readers feel as though money is all that’s important to you is probably the biggest turn off of all. You have to make your blog informative and marketable while still making people feel your sincerity.

Dynamic blogs are also some of the best blogs you can make. Encourage your readers to comment or give their feedback. Or you can throw a topic to discuss so they can give their opinions and you can have real interaction with them. For readers, there’s nothing better than a blogger interacting with them so take advantage of that line of communication you have with your followers.
As for bloggers, a blog making money is more than a welcome bonus. If you’re just planning to embark on a project like this, you can begin by researching on how to start a blog and then, of course, how to make it make money. These days, nothing is impossible and many things thought to be impossible are, in fact, some of the most normal day-to-day activities in the modern world.

Blogging To Earn Money – The Quick Steps

In Uncategorized on November 21, 2009 by Guest Author Tagged: ,

Nearly everyone who spends a good amount of time on the Internet knows how phenomenal blogging has been in terms of income potential. Success doesn’t happen overnight, though, and those who want to give it a shot will usually need a lot of patience and dedication before they can actually start earning income. However, a blog making money is not exactly a secret nor a mystery. This means anyone who’s serious about doing it won’t have such a hard time knowing how. That’s because there’s practically a wealth of resources for aspiring pro-bloggers.

To make money with blog posts then, what does it really take? What makes a blog likely to succeed? There are many things you can do and you can actually keep exploring and discovering new techniques. But for starters, you can begin with three very important pointers.

First, when you choose a topic, choose one that you’re genuinely interested in and knowledgeable about. It’s important to know what other people might want to read about for the reason that these are the people who will make money out of your blog. But whatever you end up blogging about should be something you are interested in or you’ll never have the enthusiasm nor the drive to write.

People can tell if you’re faking and they won’t like it. When you want a blog that makes money, you can’t afford to make readers not like your blog. So you have to make sure that you write about something that you like from within. Otherwise, there’s no way of pretending things are going to work out and you may as well move on to another project. Remember, blogging is a form of self-expression and you can’t possibly express something that’s not from within.

Second, it’s also a good idea to diversify your moneymaking strategies in order to make the most of your blog’s income potential. For example, even if you’re directly promoting your products and services on that blog, you can partner with Google Adsense or affiliate sites and have them post their ads on your page. With each click that people make on those ads, you earn a commission. The amount may not be huge at first, but as you build your traffic and as more people click on those ads, you’ll eventually be making incredible amounts like many successful bloggers out there. This is going to need a lot of time, though, as you will have to establish your trustworthiness with readers in the beginning. But eventually, you’ll earn your respect and you’ll start seeing the results as your blog becomes more and more popular and your ads more and more clicked. Of course, when choosing ads to post on your blog, have those that are relevant to the topic you blog about. For example, if you talk about computers, don’t put an ad for a miracle dishwashing detergent. The reason is obvious.

Third, know that before unbeaten probloggers started to earn big bucks from their blogs, they were relative unknowns at some points. This means that you’re going to have to be patient and persevering in making your blog rise to the top of search engine rankings and readers’ favorites. You have a lot of competition and beating them is now a challenge that only you can hurdle. You’re also going to need to establish your credibility and none of these is possible until you’ve given yourself a good amount of time. Work to earn people’s respect and trust. Get them to be interested always in what you have to say. Sooner or later, you will have your time and then you’ll start raking in those thousands and maybe even millions of dollars while you sit back, relax and plan out your next post

Making your blog make money online is a serious venture and it’s not something you can expect to unfold like a miracle. You need to get down and give it a fair amount of work in order to actually make money blogging and they you’ll realize that it wasn’t all hype.

Blogging – The Ways You Make Money

In Uncategorized on November 20, 2009 by Guest Author Tagged: ,

If you have an online business, it sure pays to do extra work trying to get it out to more people to increase your sales. And what better way to do that now than blogging. Definitely, blogging is a great way to promote your products or services and to seek out sponsors. Of course, you don’t essentially promote what you sell directly through the posts you make. What you’ll want to write about are topics that are informational and relevant to your products or services. This is a proven way to make your blog make money online just by staying home and enjoying the best of family life.

With a blog, you can add those pay per click ads which give you a commission for every click made on ads on your blog. There are also affiliate marketing sites which allow you to post ads on your page and earn each time those ads are clicked and when there’s actually a sale. In other words, your blog should be more of an information hub rather than a marketing tool. Then people will want to visit your blog not necessarily because of what you sell. They read blogs for the reason that they like what they read about.

Your major focus should be to give your readers good content because it is the one and only thing that makes blog readers want to come back and even subscribe to your posts. This will then give you the kind of traffic you want for your blog to actually start making money. Readers are, of course, what you’re after because they’re the ones who’ll be appreciating your thoughts, ideas and knowledge. Without your readers, it’s useless to make a blog, unless you intend for it to be your personal journal. In that case, you can’t really expect your blog to be earning.

Once you’ve, in one way or another, established a level of quality for your content, you’ll now want to add in the functionalities that will enable you to make money from your posts. Usually, people begin by adding Google AdSense. It’s a very simple process. You simply sign up for an account, provide pre-set specifications and Google will do the job of finding the best ads that will be useful or related to the information you present on your blog. When people visit your page and actually click on any of those ads, you take home a commission.

If one person is going to click one ad, you will be paid for that. But that won’t be much which means you have to get as many people as you can to click as many ads on your blog as possible. That’s how you really make a good sum of money. This also means that traffic is the number one thing you should work on. And again, quality of your content is what drives people to your blog.

Google AdSense is just one of the ways to make money with your blog. You can also add banners that will promote your products and services or those you have linked up with through an affiliate program. When you make very good posts, there’s a better chance that readers would want to click on those banners. Now, that will be one more way of earning an income through your blog.
You can earn money blogging and a lot of pro bloggers have been very successful in this. But when making money blogs, you need to have a lot of patience because it could take time to develop readers’ trust before the formula begins to work.

Two Different Approaches To Writing Blog Posts

In Uncategorized on September 21, 2009 by Guest Author Tagged: , , , ,

I recently was emailed about writing an article for Donald Trump’s new mlm business opportunity. They were willing to pay eight dollars for 100 words. That seems like a fairly short blog post but it did get me thinking.

All he was really looking for was someone to write a short review about his business opportunity and include a back link to it. Even the search engine optimization experts working for Donald Trump know the importance of creating backlinks.

You can take a couple of different approaches when you write blog articles.

1. One thing you can do is write real high quality content articles and write them as long as they need to be to get your point across. For serious bloggers who have a large readership sometimes you will see blog articles that are several hundred or even thousands of words.

My personal opinion is that it is a little long, but if your goal is to have a high content blog you don’t want to limit yourself in how long your articles are. Usually these type of bloggers are not really interested in selling products on their blog.

What they have done is create thousands of pages of really helpful content that people enjoy reading. They do various forms of viral marketing to increase the number of readers coming to their blog.

They then turn around and make all of their money selling advertising to different sponsors. There are many examples of bloggers earning high six figure incomes doing nothing more than selling advertising as their only source of income.

2. If you are trying to get noticed by the search engines you want to take a slightly different approach to your blog writing and marketing a blog efforts. You can write short blog posts of 100 to 200 words and make them helpful.

You don’t have time to waste a lot of words so this really helps you focus on the purpose of the article you are writing. You might only target one key point in any article and you get right down to business without a lot of fluff.

In this type of writing you are focusing on keyword phrases that can help you show up in the search engines. By writing more short blog articles you can increase the number of keyword phrases that you are targeting as the number of articles you write goes up.

With this style of a blog you are going to monetize it in any way you can. You might sell affiliate products in the text of the body itself. You might also add banners on every blog post down the sidebar as well.
